Tanzania Library Project


In the summer of 2016 we took a group of 14-18 year old girls from the school I work at to build a library for the Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need School in Mabogini, near Mt Kilimanjaro.

The expedition marked the culmination of two years’ worth of research, fundraising, building, cataloguing, negotiating, event-organising and just plain hard work to get to. It was all so worth it in the end…
