Tanzania Project – Part II

Summer 2016 was the culmination of a two year long labour of love, which saw me take 14 teenage girls from the School I work at in London out to Tanzania, where we furbished and opened up the library we had raised money for and worked so hard on for the Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need School (KYGN) in Moshi, Tanzania. Undoubtedly, this was a big undertaking, a big deal and, with it, a big achievement. But whilst opening up a library brought that whole project to a natural conclusion, there was no sense of an overall ending. There was and is still much work to be done, and we are now preparing for another expedition to KYGN in the summer. What’s the deal this time? Read on…
